History of the formation of Hongik University Korea
Korean Hongik University (홍iqu대학교) was founded in 1946. Currently, Hongik University Korea includes: 10 specialized universities (11 majors, 27 faculties), 5 majors, 1 faculty and 12 graduate faculties. The school has particular strengths in the arts and design disciplines. The campus is spacious and is divided into several campuses such as Seoul Campus, Sejong Campus, Daehakro Campus and Hwaseong Campus.
In 2009, Hongik University International Language Institute was the unit selected by the Korean Ministry of Education to implement the “Korean Language Learning Program Support Project
Added by Seoul Immigration Office as support organization for “Intensive Korean Course for Immigrants”.
In 2011, Hongik University International Language Institute was selected as the enterprise to entrust Korean language courses to foreign graduates in the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP).

Admission conditions at Hongik University, Korea
For Undergraduate Programs:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent. For candidates from other education systems, academic records and qualifications need to be proven and translated into English or Korean.
Scores: The performance of previous schools will be considered. Some programs may require a minimum score or SAT/ACT test score (for international programs).
English: Students need to prove their English ability with certificates such as TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent evidence if the program is in English. Required tools may vary by program.
For Graduate Programs:
